OUR MUKTI MISSION:
Mukti is a Sanskrit word that means freedom from oppression and exploitation. Our goal is to see women and children find pathways to freedom. We partner with organizations around Asia that are on the frontlines helping to rescue and rehabilitate children that have experienced unimaginable exploitation.

About Mukti
Like 12-year-old Radha in our short-film, up to 20,000 Nepalese girls are trafficked into sexual exploitation each year. Many never get a chance at freedom.
Mukti was born out of the desire to see more girls rescued and rehabilitated in Asia. Mukti's holistic aftercare home helps survivors to navigate their healing journey so that they don't return to a life of exploitation once rescued.
We value depth of impact over breadth and each girl's care is customized, creating care plans that reflect the personal goals and dreams of each survivor.

Mukti Aftercare
Mukti's aftercare includes an interdisciplinary team that works side-by-side to give survivors the love, care, and resources they need to thrive.
A team of over 25 staff work together to help the girls receiving individual and group counseling, remedial education, family support, job training and employment, 24 hour security, medical care, legal representation, and, most importantly, lots and lots of love.
